| Fire Prevention & Investigation The Fire Prevention & Investigation Bureau is responsible for educating the public about fire safety, and investigating all suspicious fires the Department responds to. The Bureau works with local schools, and organizations, to educate the public with hands on demonstrations, lectures, and station tours. The Bureau also works closely with the State Fire Marshall's office to investigate all suspicious fires in the city. All officer's of the Bureau do have arrest powers, and are authorized to carry firearms |
